What to install on you newly purchased PCcompatible with the operating system windows
Introduction
This article covers a set of necessary freeware for a personal computer. All programs mentioned in here have a freeware status and can be used absolutely legally and downloaded from shara-soft.ru website.
AudioVideo Players
As an audio-video player we suggest using JetAudio. It is good both for audio and video playback. It has equalizer and allows applying different effects in real time as well as change the playback speed. While playing a video file you can get rid of black spaces at the top and bottom of the screen or on the sides. OSD, subtitles and display of additional information (song lyrics, album cover, etc.) are fully supported. This player woks fine with hardware multimedia buttons without any additional manipulations. It also has a great media library and can record sound, copy music from CD, convert audio and video files
and stream internet radio. Another plus of JetAudio is that it uses very little computer resources. To play an .mp3 file it only requires 14 megabytes of RAM.
If you prefer separate audio and video players we advise using AIMP for audio. Just download and try it, we are sure you will like it. As an alternative video player Light Alloy for windows 7 can be advised.
Dictionary
As dictionary software we advise installing Magic Goody 2. It is a rather good dictionary, but what is more important it is totally free.
Download managers
To simplify the download process of multiple files there are download managers. We would recommend trying Download Master. This utility can integrate itself in different browsers. There is also an option to start downloads by schedule, set the number of simultaneous downloads and download speed. It can also adjust the download speed according to activity of other programs, which use internet connection. Download Master also includes an FTP-client.
